Food quality, food security, food management and food processing are today’s global concerns, and food technology is the multidisciplinary subject that integrates them all. The production and distribution of food is the largest and most important economic activity in the world.
There are excellent opportunities in research foundations, analytical testing, quasslity control, production and marketing of food items, hospitals and academic institutions, both in Nepal and abroad. To meet the growing demand for food professionals, we are committed to producing highly competent, industry-ready graduates.
At Nagarik College, our mission is to lead in food science and research, and to serve government, industry, NGOs, INGOs and academic institutions with skilled, ethical and confident food technologists.
